Stencil Project
Throughout this experience I have learned many different lessons, for example i learned how to spray paint properly and i also learned how to layer correctly. I also, in a way learned how to use photoshop. One lesson i learned was dont get too close to your stencil when spray painting because theres a chance that you could cause dripping and that is definently not what you want when spray painting. The first thing in this whole process was taking an emotional photo. After that I had to go into Photoshop and edit my face to add different textures and colors. The next thing I did was trace each color off the projector onto a poster board. Once i finished tracing each color on a posterboard i had to cut out each thing. I then painted a peice of cardboard the color i wanted my background to be. Lastly i took each stencil and spray painted the desired color over each stencil to get the final image. In my opinion this project was a success because not only did i learn the basics of stenciling i also learned how to use Photoshop and i learned how to spraypaint properly. This was my experience throughout the stencil project and i think it was a major success.
