In my opinion i think the whole contour lines unite severely increased my drawing skills. The reason i believe this is because before this unit i couldnt even draw a stick person.The shoe drawing might not be my best work, but it was a learning lesson and taught me how proper contuor lines are supposed to be made. I think this has been probably one of the most helpful units in art so far from what we have learned so far. This shoe helped me because it taught me to draw what you see. This is how the Shoe drawing helped improve my contour drawing.

One similarity between the two is that they both include the same shapes. One difference between the two was the oil pastel shading project was complete unlike the layers pro. I think the oil pastels were better because they were alot more natural than the Layers Pro app. From this layers project i learned how to shade properly and it has helped me immensley in the whole shading thing. Technology is important in art because it can help you do things not possibnle with the human hand. It can also help you research different techniques and pretty imaginable.
